Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of the Domabemsoop (도마뱀숲) reptile breeding tracker (the “Service”) operated by GoodRule (the “Company”, “we”, “us”) at domabemsoop.com. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Definitions

  • “Service” means the Domabemsoop reptile breeding tracker provided via the website, PWA, and any future mobile apps.
  • “User” means anyone accessing the Service.
  • “Member” means a User who has completed registration and email verification.
  • “User Content” means all data Members enter or upload into the Service, including animal records, photos, notes, pairing records, egg-lay and hatching records, weight history, and sales entries.
  • “QR Public Profile” means the public URL feature that lets a Member share a specific animal’s profile publicly.

2. Acceptance and Changes

  • By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
  • We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced at least 7 days before the effective date, or 30 days for changes that significantly affect User rights.
  • If you continue to use the Service after the effective date of a change, you are deemed to have accepted the updated Terms. You may delete your account at any time if you disagree.

3. The Service (Free)

  • We provide the following features free of charge:
    • Animal records and photo uploads
    • Pairing, egg-lay, hatching, and weight tracking
    • Automated egg-lay and hatching reminders (D-day)
    • Morph probability prediction
    • QR public profile generation
    • Personal sales records (for your bookkeeping)
    • Data storage and access
  • We may add, change, or remove features to improve the Service.
  • Specific usage instructions are provided within the Service.

4. Service Availability

  • We do our best to keep the Service online, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or events outside our control (outages, network issues, force majeure).
  • Planned maintenance will be announced in advance when possible.
  • If we discontinue the Service entirely, we will provide at least 30 days’ notice and a method to export your data.

5. Account Registration

  • You must complete email verification to become a Member.
  • You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • We may refuse or suspend registration if:
    • You use false information or impersonate another person
    • You are under 14 years old without guardian consent
    • You have previously violated these Terms
    • You otherwise fail to meet our eligibility requirements

6. Account Termination

  • You may delete your account at any time through the Service or by emailing support@domabemsoop.com. We will process the request without undue delay.
  • Upon termination, your User Content is handled per our Privacy Policy.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or applicable law, with notice when practicable.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Impersonate someone else or register with false information
  • Use the Service commercially without our prior written consent
  • Copy, redistribute, or resell data obtained through the Service
  • Infringe any intellectual property of the Company or third parties
  • Interfere with the Service’s operation (automated scraping, DDoS, abnormal request volume)
  • Violate any applicable law or harm public morals
  • Upload photos or information belonging to others without their permission

8. User Content and Ownership

  • You retain all rights, title, and ownership to your User Content. We store and display it solely to provide the Service to you.
  • You represent that your User Content does not infringe any third-party rights. You are responsible for any disputes arising from your content.
  • We may use aggregated, anonymized statistics derived from User Content to improve the Service — this never includes personally identifiable content.
  • The Service itself (software, design, brand, logo) is our intellectual property.

9. QR Public Profile Feature

  • When you enable the QR Public Profile for an animal, its photo, name, species, and morph become viewable by anyone with the URL.
  • You control what is published and can revoke public access at any time.
  • We are not responsible for how third parties use or copy information you have made publicly available. Choose what to share carefully.

10. Nature of Sales Records

  • The Service’s “sales records” feature is a personal bookkeeping tool for your own breeding activity only.
  • We are not a marketplace. We do not broker, facilitate, or guarantee any actual sale between Members or between Members and third parties.
  • Sales entries are not our revenue and we do not aggregate or share them with third parties.
  • Any actual trade or transfer of reptiles must comply with applicable wildlife, customs, and commerce laws in your jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for this compliance.

11. Third-Party Services

We use third-party processors (e.g., Cafe24 for hosting, Google Analytics for analytics). Details are described in the Privacy Policy. Future advertising, if introduced, will be announced in advance.

12. Disclaimers

  • The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”. We make no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
  • Automated calculations (egg-lay predictions, morph genetics probability, etc.) are based on general reference data and may not match actual outcomes. Use them as guidance, not as guarantees.
  • We do not warrant the accuracy or reliability of content uploaded by Users.

13. Limitation of Liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to data loss, loss of hatchlings, loss of revenue, or loss of goodwill.
  • Our aggregate liability for direct damages, if any, is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (currently zero, as the Service is free), or (b) KRW 50,000.
  • We are not liable for disputes between Members or between Members and third parties that arise through the Service.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company against any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your User Content, or your violation of applicable law.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
  • Disputes shall be resolved in the courts having jurisdiction over the Company’s registered address, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer-protection laws in your country of residence.

16. Future Paid Services

  • The Service is currently offered free of charge.
  • We may introduce paid features in the future (e.g., removing the animal-count cap, advanced analytics, expanded photo storage).
  • When paid services are introduced, these Terms will be amended and a separate Payment Terms document will be added. Changes will be announced at least 30 days in advance.
  • Until paid services are introduced, only the free-tier provisions of these Terms apply to you.
